Robert Lewandowksi scored a brace with David Alaba’s and Serge Gnabry also getting into the score sheet as Bayern won 4 – 2.
Hansi Flick, Bayern’s head coach who only arrived at the club nine months ago, has turned the Bavarian’s into an unstoppable force in German football.
This is Bayern’s 20th German cup title, for Leverkusen the wait continues as the club is still waiting for a title since last winning the German cup in 1993.
The German champions are still hopeful for a treble as they are still in contention for the Champions League this season.
