Mutheu Musyimi: Kenyans express anger after Mlango Kubwa MCA is beaten by police

Mlango Kubwa MCA Mutheu Musyimi was brutally beaten by police officers at City Hall on Tuesday, July 28.

Photos of the incident shared online showed the first time MCA being clobbered and kicked by four police officers.

The beating of the MCA by police was after chaos erupted at City Hall when MCAs allied to Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko tried to forcefully evict Assembly Speaker Beatrice Elachi.

The MCA’s accused Elachi of abuse of office and demanded her removal.
